For He Himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in His flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that He might create in Himself one new man in place of two, so making peace and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility.

The good news of Christ reconciles enemies. Jesus reconciles the hostile relationship between God and man, but doesnt stop there. He reconciles man with man, killing the hostility we have with one another, the ways we see ourselves above each other or below, better than or worst than, through the cross. The cross destroys that which divides human, it lays all under sin and provides the solution in Christ atoning blood, which puts all on the same plane of existence, children of God through faith in Jesus.

We long to see the one new man fulfilled in tangible ways, uniting believers beyond denominational, racial, political and cultural barriers that have divided. Will you
